Whatever will be, will be. The future’s not ours to see
Hello everyone, finally I decided to keep my blog in my own site, my own domain. It may be more difficult to maintain than maintaining a blog on some free blog provider, but hey, that’s what I have a domain and webspace for!
Now I have to move my existing blog entries from my old blog. Not much, only three entries or so, but hey, I am a bit lazy. Then I will probably write about how the migration of my website from geocities to my own domain went.

It’s been about a month now… I am working in a company, Subex Azure. Things are going great so far. Had a one and half month training on SQL (Oracle), Unix (Linux actually), C, C++, Java and XML. Now I am undergoing what is called Process Training. It is actually to teach Extreme Programming (the kind of software engineering method used in this company).
As part of extreme programming, we have to follow what is called pair programming. In this technique, there are two people sitting at one terminal. One person acts as the driver, working at the keyboard and mouse, the other being the navigator, sitting nearby watching and continually reviewing the driver’s work. I’ve heard that it can be frustrating some times. But there are several good sides to it. You start coding on day 1. No comments, no documentation, all communications are done directly, person to person.
Can’t tell what it will be like till I actually get into it. I’m waiting…

Me in Kovalam
Just back from Technopark. Had the time of my college life. Looking forward to more of it when I go there to finish my project. We just started it… My project team consists of Renjith KR, Divya John, Bilumon VB and Vidhu TM. The project is titled ProjectAid, is a project managment software with bug tracking.
Project in the mornings, and sight seeing in the evenings. In about 10 days, we visited Kovalam, Shangumugham and the zoo in Trivandrum, and visited most of the restaurants around the place, and went for a movie.
Enjoyed it very much. Never thought doing a project could get so exciting….
